We are looking for a cheerful and relaxed, yet professional early childhood education teacher for one of our preschool groups. Our main goal as professionals is to create a positive and safe atmosphere and encourage children in daily activities. We value good communication skills, joy, and humor in interactions with children and adults. We require a child-centered and team-oriented approach. We are looking for a caregiver who dares to engage in children's play. Veturin Daycare is part of the Veturin operational unit, together with Jokiniemi Daycare. The daycare is located in Tikkurila, within walking distance from the train station. Veturin has six local areas, comprising a total of 11 groups. In the upcoming season, two groups will have preschoolers and two groups will have children under 3 years old. One group (Höyryjunat) is an eight-caregiver special group. The unit is led by a co-director team. The unit also employs a versatile special education teacher and a development social counselor. As an early childhood education teacher, you have the opportunity to be part of our daycare management team, where we plan and discuss common matters of the daycare. Our unit also uses the ProVaka model to support children's social skills. As an employee, you commit to acting in accordance with the principles of this model, together with the rest of the staff.
