International Secretary - Saimaan ammattiopisto - Lappeenranta, Finland

South Karelia Education Consortium Sampo is seeking an international secretary for the international team at 50% working hours at the Lappeenranta campus from June 8, 2026, to May 26, 2027. Start date is flexible according to agreement. The international secretary coordinates student and staff international mobility periods, such as international internships and study periods, and participates in cooperation with international partner organizations. The role includes administrative tasks related to international activities, such as preparing and maintaining agreements, reporting, invoicing, coordinating practical arrangements, and traveling abroad if necessary. You will be part of a two-person international team working closely with Sampo’s staff, management, and workplace partners. Together, you will monitor the impact of international activities and develop practices in collaboration with various stakeholders. As an international secretary, you will communicate about international activities via social media and within Sampo, ensuring up-to-date information is available. We require a suitable secondary vocational qualification and good proficiency in Finnish and English. Experience in international activities and/or projects is appreciated. You may be a good fit if you have strong interaction and collaboration skills, organizational and coordination abilities. You can work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple simultaneous tasks. The selected candidate must present a valid criminal record extract according to Act 504/2002 and a medical certificate of health before the employment begins. The initial employment period includes a 5.5-month probationary period. Educational and work certificates are requested from those invited to an interview.
