The Project Manager for Electric and Hybrid Project Delivery will lead and deliver integrated electrical system projects for newbuilds and retrofit upgrades, including battery, hybrid, and full electric solutions, across the global maritime market. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the project team
- Plan and execute the project lifecycle from start-up to closure
- Coordinate engineering and sub-system integration
- Oversee procurement and logistics
- Coordinate commissioning
- Work with multi-product teams across geographic areas
- Represent Wärtsilä to customers and ensure satisfaction
- Own cost, quality, and schedule of projects
- Manage stakeholder relationships
- Participate in sales support, bids, and customer visits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/systems/automation field
- Experience with integrating marine electrical/automation systems
- Experience as a Project Manager or On-Site & Commissioning Lead
- Good business sense
- Understanding of PRINCE2 or PMBoK
- Good language skills in English (oral and written)
- Norwegian language is a benefit
