We are looking for a TKI (Research, Development, and Innovation) specialist to work as a project manager to build the future of entrepreneurship and business! Do you want to be involved in developing local communities, creative operating models, and multidisciplinary cooperation? Are you passionate about development work where ideas turn into concrete actions together with different people and stakeholders? We are now seeking a full-time TKI specialist to act as a project manager in the Entrepreneurship and Business TKI team. The position is fixed-term from August 10, 2026, to May 31, 2028. As a project manager, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating two projects and ensuring their successful implementation together with the project team. Your duties also include administration, reporting, financial monitoring, and communication. You will participate in development tasks and organize workshops and network events in close collaboration with stakeholders. You will mainly work within the influence area of the Pietarsaari campus with Swedish-speaking stakeholders. The working languages at Centria are Finnish and English, but success in the role requires good Swedish language skills. We expect from you: - A suitable higher education degree - Experience in development or project work and coordinating multiple actors - Strong skills in co-creation, event organization, workshop facilitation, and/or participatory methods - Interest or understanding of game design, creative processes, and/or artistic work - Ability to inspire people of different ages and backgrounds to collaborate - Good communication and interaction skills, and readiness to work with multilingual and multicultural groups - Ability to analyze, synthesize, and summarize information to support activities and decision-making - Self-directed and open-minded work approach, and genuine interest in developing local communities and cultural environments We offer you: - Flexible working opportunities - Meaningful and impactful work in regional development projects - An independent and responsible expert role where you can truly influence the content of your work - A diverse and varied job involving creative and participatory methods - Opportunities to develop your skills in project work and extensive stakeholder networks - Support from an experienced and encouraging work community Salary is based on the collective agreement for universities of applied sciences according to Sivista ry. The total salary consists of a base salary and annual experience-based supplements (0-16% of the base salary). The base salary ranges from €3,047.68 to €3,274.76.
