Job responsibilities: As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will independently and collaboratively manage the financial administration of designated client companies. Your work includes bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, financial statements, tax returns, reporting, and providing financial information to clients. You will act as a consultant and participate regularly in monthly meetings with clients. Your clients will mainly be SMEs and groups with strict reporting requirements and tight schedules. The industry emphasizes manufacturing. You will also participate in onboarding new clients and developing and implementing financial processes. There is an opportunity to expand the role to include controlling tasks if desired. You will be part of a community of about 25 specialists. Responsibilities are shared, support is always available, and vacation arrangements are in place – no one is left alone even in complex tasks. Several financial management systems are used, most commonly Netvisor, Procountor, and Fennoa, as well as SAP and Oracle NetSuite. To succeed in this role, we expect: * At least five years of experience in bookkeeping, financial statements, and financial management tasks * Experience with group accounting * Relevant educational background; KLT qualification is an advantage * A consulting and customer-oriented approach, good interpersonal skills * Good IT skills and ability to learn new financial systems smoothly * Interest in developing financial processes and improving operational practices * Strong written and spoken Finnish skills; English skills are an advantage * Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse client cases Our client offers: Eqvitia combines strong financial expertise, a modern working style, and genuine care for people.
