System Administrator, Technical Services, Identity and Access Management (IAM) - Shopify - Remote - Global

The IAM team at Shopify is dedicated to ensuring employees have the right technology to perform their work securely. Using products like Okta, Google, and custom tools, we manage identities interacting with Shopify resources, ensuring access is appropriate and secure. As a technician, you will maintain and enhance systems supporting identity management for various user types, including employees, contractors, auditors, and automated accounts. You will respond to operational workload and contribute to building future tooling, collaborating across teams to implement innovative solutions. Responsibilities include managing user groups, configuring applications with SSO, automating tasks, documenting processes, and supporting new technology deployment. The role involves remote work, requiring collaboration with multiple teams, and participation in on-call incident response. Preferred qualifications include Okta certification, Google Workspace knowledge, and experience with Github. Core hours are 9-5 EST ± 3 hours.
