Metal Worker for Workshop - Worker Kainuu Oy - Kajaani, Finland

Are you a versatile professional in the metal industry who enjoys working both in a workshop and on-site installation tasks? We are looking for a versatile metal worker for our client. The work mainly involves metal fabrication in the workshop, but occasionally includes installation tasks on-site in the Kainuu region, such as at mines and data center construction sites. This is a long-term position for a skilled worker, with work hours during regular weekdays. The job includes MAG welding, manufacturing and assembly of various metal structures, and installation work at sites. Additionally, wet painting with a high-pressure spray is part of the work, so basic surface treatment skills are important. The role requires independent work, supported by a knowledgeable and practical team. You are suitable for this job if you have: Experience in MAG welding (material thickness 3-25 mm) and readiness to perform small-scale welding tasks; Installation skills and willingness to work on-site; Experience in surface treatment tasks in the metal industry; Education in the metal industry or equivalent work experience; Ability to read drawings and work independently; Valid occupational safety card (or willingness to obtain one). It is a plus (but not essential) if you also have: Previous experience in workshop work and industrial installations; Valid welding certifications; Forklift or crane license; Experience with heavier steel structures. We offer you: Salary according to collective agreement or better, paid on time. Your hourly wage will range from €15.56 to €18.65, depending on your skills and experience.
