Job Description
Your workplace is located on a planet called Minecraft. However, we do not require you to move away from Tellus. You can keep your current home, because we teleport you to work every day! All you have to do is sit in your chair and relax. Your co-workers may be a little more cubical than normal, but you will definitely get along well with them. At least with most of them. Or at least with the ones that aren't trying to shoot you. Yes, well... do you happen to have insurance? Haha, just a little joke. If you have an unfortunate accident at work and zombies surprise you in the middle of your duties, together with the occupational health authorities of the planet, we have developed a way to bring you back to life immediately. So don't worry! We take occupational safety very seriously also in the worlds outside Earth. Your task is to guide and instruct, to teach and control those wet behind the ears arriving on the planet, the little newbies, and to lead them in a fatherly and motherly manner to the endless adventures of this fascinating new world. Each incoming group has around 10-15 young cube-headed smallish humanoids, meaning people, meaning gamers. You act as their responsible group leader. Rather than making everything ready for them, you let them try and make mistakes. You participate, give instructions and point out problems rather than give finished solutions. You tickle their little grey brain cells and their curiosity and creativity and create challenges for them to solve. You can also assign part of the tasks to be taken back to Earth to be finished between the official lessons. From us you get a lot of material and ready-made models to do the work, as well as endless lives and endless support 24/7. If you are interested, it would be super cool if you also knew how to create more content and educational adventures for your little cube heads. It would be soooo great if you had already visited the planet in question and knew which way to hold a pick-axe. Perhaps you are even able to build more than just a big cube in the middle of the void. In addition, we would greatly appreciate it if you had experience herding small people on Tellus. In some form at least. If gaming is your passion and you like to make videos or stream online, that's a big bonus! PS. If you stumbled upon this job advertisement while looking for a position in the HVAC or in construction industry, then stop and think for a moment. Would you rather build amazing worlds full of fantasy and breathtaking imaginative buildings in a universe without limits or manufacture those basic, boring constructions for storing humans? I thought so! All you have to do is submit an application.
