Lead architecture strategy for Amer Sports' multi-brand commerce landscape; drive scalable, compliant, modern commerce platforms; remote-European role with travel. Requires 10+ years in enterprise architecture and strong D2C/B2B experience.
Architecture Strategy & Target State Define and own the north star architecture for Amer Sports' commerce landscape, establishing the long-term target state across D2C (Retail and eCom), B2B, and emerging commerce models that guides platform investment and brand-level execution. Bridge business ambition and architecture decisions — translating commercial priorities into platform direction across the full omni-channel capability stack, and making explicit the technology trade-offs that shape strategic decisions around channel allocation, inventory positioning, and omni-channel experience. Platform Governance & Composability Lead architecture governance for commerce platforms — owning standards, integration patterns, and design principles that ensure scalability, resilience, and adaptability across a multi-brand, multi-channel environment. Drive platform consolidation and composability across brands by identifying redundancy, defining shared commerce capabilities, and establishing reusable building blocks that balance brand autonomy with group-level efficiency. Scalability & Resilience Champion decoupling, scalability, and resilience across the commerce stack — ensuring customer-facing experiences remain fast and robust under growing and spiky load, by governing architectural patterns that isolate failure, scale independently, and sustain performance across brands and channels. Emerging Commerce & Innovation Shape the architecture response to emerging commerce models — including agentic commerce, B2B2C, and marketplace ecosystems, ensuring Amer Sports' platform landscape stays ahead of commercial evolution. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment Act as the primary architecture partner to Business Platforms — aligning platform design, application ownership, and architectural direction with the Business Platforms organization as the owner of the commerce application landscape. Collaborate with brand IT organizations across the portfolio — ensuring brand-specific commerce requirements are represented in architecture decisions and that group-level standards are carried into brand contexts across Arc'teryx, Salomon, Wilson, and beyond. Partner with Commercial leadership — ensuring the commerce platform architecture supports the customer-facing ambitions of the business, including personalization, loyalty, and omni-channel experience priorities. You will report to the Head of Tech Strategy & Enterprise Architecture.
