Job Description

UTU Excellence Ltd is seeking two training specialists for fixed-term positions as Training Managers from August 15, 2026, to September 30, 2027. The employment relationships may continue beyond the fixed-term periods as permanent positions. UTU Excellence Ltd was established in 2025 and is owned by the University of Turku. The company provides multidisciplinary training programs, coaching, and consulting services for domestic and international clients. We are now looking to add two Training Managers to our growing team to handle the planning, implementation, development, and sales of leadership training. Role As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and successfully delivering leadership training. You will lead training programs from start to finish, ensure project progress, and work closely with clients, trainers, and other stakeholders. The role includes responsible sales of training services and development of customer relationships. You will identify clients’ skill needs, propose suitable training solutions, and participate in developing new training services. You will act as the responsible person for training processes from idea and sales to implementation, customer collaboration, and post-evaluation. This position offers the opportunity to influence both the content of training programs and the growth of UTU Excellence Ltd. Qualifications We expect candidates to have: - A relevant university degree or equivalent work experience - Practical experience in business and project management - Experience in designing and implementing leadership training is an advantage - Ability to lead and coordinate training and development programs - An active and goal-oriented customer and sales approach - Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solution-oriented work style - Excellent collaboration, interaction, and communication skills - Fluent Finnish and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage Additional valued qualities include analytical thinking, creativity, and a desire to develop new training solutions tailored to customer needs. We Offer An opportunity to build a new company’s operations together with a skilled team. The salary for this position is based on the university salary system (YPJ), level 9, with a monthly task-based salary of €3,366.50. An additional performance-based salary of up to 46.3% of the task-based salary is also paid. The position includes a six-month probation period.
