Shipping Worker - Eezy Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy - Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for a responsible and proactive shipping worker for our client Baba Foods in Herttoniemi, who enjoys working at the core of production and logistics. Baba Foods is a Finnish, rapidly growing family business that produces delicious Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian foods with love. Our products are found on store shelves and restaurant menus and are loved by many. Our company is growing and developing, and at the same time, we want to offer our employees opportunities to grow with us. Your role: In the shipping department, you will work at an important junction ensuring that products are dispatched to the right customers and on time. Your daily tasks include collecting, packing, and dispatching orders, as well as recording orders in systems. You will communicate with transportation companies, manage the ordering of transport units (pallets, transboxes), and monitor material flows in the shipping department through weekly and monthly inventories. You will work closely with the packaging and production management, so communication skills and flexibility are essential. The job also involves managing production inventories, receiving and unpacking goods, and comprehensive waste management. Additionally, you will support the packaging operations: at the end of the day, ensuring the packaging area is ready for the next workday. During the first few months, you will familiarize yourself with packaging tasks to operate smoothly there if needed. Working hours and salary: The position is full-time, with shifts mainly between 10:00 and 20:00. Salary depends on skills and experience and ranges from €13.50 to €17.00 per hour. The employment relationship follows the MaRa collective agreement, and any additional pay is in accordance with the collective agreement.
