Job Description

Pilke gently guides children on their learning journey. Our early childhood education includes learning through play and gentle interaction. We recognize and support each child's unique abilities and strengths. Pilke aims to be the best in Finland's early childhood education sector. This goal is achieved through teamwork. We are now seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Pilke Verson daycare in Jyväskylä. Fixed-term position from 17.8. to 20.12.2026. Pilke Verson daycare is nature-oriented. In a nature-focused daycare, children learn a positive attitude towards nature, outdoor activities, and sustainable living. In early childhood education, emphasis is placed on exploring and marveling at natural phenomena, regular excursions, and outdoor activities. Located in Keljonkangas, Jyväskylä, in a peaceful environment within a beautiful log building, Pilke Verson offers children the opportunity to grow and learn close to nature — safely and authentically. The atmosphere combines warmth, child-centered pedagogy, and a relaxed daily rhythm. We go outdoors daily regardless of the weather. The forest, yard, and surrounding nature provide endless opportunities for exploration and wonder. Nature offers a versatile environment for learning, movement, and creativity — fostering a positive relationship with the environment. Our goal is also to inspire joy in physical activity and support an active lifestyle from an early age. Would you like to influence many children's lives and early years?
