Electrical Works and Operations Manager - NRC Group

We are now looking for an experienced Electrical Works and Operations Manager! In this position, you will be responsible for the overall development and assurance of the organization's electrical safety. In your role, you will ensure that electrical work is carried out in accordance with current legislation, regulations, and safety requirements. You are the person we are looking for if you want to promote interesting projects, enjoy responsible tasks, and like working independently. However, you will not do your work alone, but solve things together with our projects and other experts. The place of work is primarily at NRC Group's sites, but the place of work will be decided separately with the selected person. Please note that the work requires willingness to travel in Finland. Working hours are mainly between 8 am and 4 pm. Your duties include: - Ensuring that the Electrical Safety Act is followed in electrical work - Ensuring that electrical equipment and systems are in the condition required by the Electrical Safety Act - Ensuring that persons working in electrical work are professional and sufficiently instructed in their tasks - Ensuring employees' required, valid competencies and certificates related to electrical work - Organizing electrical safety training for staff - Regular site visits - Handling deviations and implementing corrective actions - Reporting and continuous improvement What do we expect from you? - Previous experience in the duties of an electrical works manager and operations manager, as well as S1 qualification - At least technician-level education - Experience in maintenance and construction projects of high-voltage equipment - Excellent communication and presentation skills and good Finnish language skills - Strong teamwork skills and willingness to communicate directly with various stakeholders - A calm, careful, and attentive approach to work and ability to withstand pressure - At least a class B driver's license and willingness to travel regularly on sites within the country What do we consider an advantage? - Strong experience and expertise in project management and operations management - Project-based management of electrical work and willingness to develop operations - Experience related to the electrical railway We require passing a pre-employment check at the start of the employment.
