Cleaner - Attendo Oy - Helsinki, Finland

A new 74-place 24-hour service home for the elderly, Attendo Kuisma, is opening in Pukinmäki, Helsinki in October. We are looking for a Cleaner for a full-time, permanent position in a multidisciplinary team, with a desire to do versatile, high-quality work and be part of a functioning team from the start to create new practices and be responsible for the home's cleanliness and comfort. At Attendo, we are 'On the Way Home,' meaning we want to be a home first and foremost for the elderly, disabled, and those in mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation. Every resident deserves to be met as an individual and live a full life. In the Cleaner's role, you significantly influence the residents' well-being, bringing a joyful attitude and warmth to the house. You are responsible for the cleanliness and purity of the Attendo home. Tasks include: taking care of the general appearance and cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas according to instructions; laundry and other assisting tasks; organizing and developing your own work; making supply orders and monitoring inventory; monitoring self-monitoring and reacting to deviations; maintaining tools; collaborating with care staff (e.g., orientation). You are responsible for the supervision and implementation of cleaning services together with the quality coordinator and home manager. The position is full-time and permanent. Work is mainly on weekday mornings, starting in October 2026. Requirements: No degree required, but education and experience in cleaning services are an advantage; vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act; hygiene passport or readiness to complete it within three months; fluent Finnish; criminal record extract. You are proactive, eager to learn, and flexible.
