Job Description
The Quality Technician ensures that finished products meet quality standards and specifications through inspection. Responsibilities include audits, supporting operations, document control, data analysis, handling complaints, managing non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions, testing and inspection, data analysis, reporting, process improvement, laboratory instrument calibration, staff training, and KPI monitoring. Knowledge of tools like Lean Six Sigma, metrics like CPMO, MFGPro/MAGMA system, root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram, Kaizen, and basic knowledge of local and international standards like ISO 9001 or NOMs is required. Qualifications include a degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields, 1-2 years of experience in quality, knowledge of laboratory equipment and data analysis, intermediate English, advanced Excel, desirable Minitab, and skills in continuous improvement methodologies, analytical thinking, assertive communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and compliance. The role is full-time, on-site, located at Periférico Sur # 6588 Bodega 6 y 7, Parque Industrial, Tlaquepaque, Mexico.
