Job Description

Support project quotation activities in a technical role. The critical part of the role is reading and interpreting customers' technical design documents and drawings (e.g., diagrams, bill of materials, technical descriptions) to compile technical quotation materials and cost estimates. Experience in electrical distribution projects or electrical network components is sufficient, and understanding what technical documents convey and what questions to ask is important. Your work will focus on understanding customer needs and assembling technical solutions together with sales. Your responsibilities include, among others: - Interpreting customer requests for quotations, technical design documents, and drawings, and clarifying necessary details - Participating in defining technical concepts and delivery content - Compiling quotation materials and supporting cost calculations - Matching solutions to products and documenting delivery contents - Collaborating with customers' technical personnel - Preparing technical documentation and materials in Finnish and English - Occasional travel to customer sites about once a month. We are looking for You have completed studies in the field and some background in electrical distribution, electrical network design, or a role involving reading technical electrical/automation documents. The most important thing is the ability to grasp overall concepts and discuss technical content clearly. We hope you have: - Relevant educational background, e.g., electrical power, automation, or energy technology - Work experience after graduation in electrical distribution or network design - Basic understanding of medium-voltage environments and electrical panels - Basic understanding of protection and automation principles or a clear motivation to learn quickly - Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and customer technical design documents and drawings - Basic knowledge of design/documentation tools, e.g., AutoCAD or similar - Fluent Finnish and English, written and spoken - A sales-oriented approach: interest in how to compile quotation materials clearly and customer-oriented. To succeed in this role, you are: - Proactive and responsible – you drive tasks forward and ask clarifying questions when needed - Good communicator – able to discuss technical matters clearly - Organized – project phases progress step-by-step and require thoroughness - Interested also in business aspects, such as pricing, delivery contents, and scope - Flexible – workload varies, and you can prioritize. Our client is an international technology company providing solutions for electrical systems, energy management, and industrial needs. In this role, you will be part of a knowledgeable team supporting customers' technical needs and building functional solutions as part of electrical projects.
