Early Childhood Education Childcare Worker - Pyhännän kunta - Pyhäntä, Finland

Pyhäntä Municipality is hiring a childcare worker for early childhood education from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Pyhäntä has two daycares with a total of five children's groups. The childcare worker will be assigned to the Marjakumpu daycare in a group with children aged 3-5 years. The daycare also offers shift care, so flexibility for shift work is required. We expect applicants to have the ability to consider the individual needs of children. Qualifications are determined according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), section 28, with consideration of section 33 as an exception. Salary is based on local collective agreement. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002), section 3. The probation period is 2 months.
