We utilize a new and modern GIS-based operational management system called Matti, which we are actively developing. As a GIS planner, you will manage property formation application matters and participate in the development of related processes and information systems, as well as customer service related to applications for property transactions. You will be responsible for managing the city’s rental area data and attribute information in the Matti system, for both city-owned and privately owned properties. You will also participate in property registrations and assist in various stages of the land division process. Measurement and Geospatial Services employs about 80 people. We maintain geospatial data related to properties and buildings. Additionally, we handle aerial imagery and laser scanning data procurement, maintain various maps and city models, and distribute geospatial data to users. The unit provides geotechnical research and planning services required by the city.
