Our 24-hour elderly care facility provides services for those over 65 years old. Assistance and care are available around the clock, and individual care continues until the end of life. Väinöläkoti serves clients with psychiatric and memory-related conditions. Our small group homes ensure residents experience a homely environment tailored to their needs. We are now seeking a support worker for cleaning tasks, mainly during weekday mornings. A higher percentage of working hours is possible if the applicant is qualified to work shifts in care duties as well. Your main responsibilities include: general cleaning of common areas and resident rooms according to a cleaning plan, occasional cleaning tasks as per the plan, laundry duties, and care work if holding a care assistant qualification. You will report to the unit manager. We expect you to have: relevant education or previous experience in cleaning, a proactive and energetic work attitude, interest in working in elderly care, good interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork skills, and a positive attitude. A qualification as a hospital cleaner is an advantage. The role requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per the Infectious Diseases Act §48 and a criminal background check for working with the elderly.
