We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work with modern technologies and innovative solutions in Vaasa or Seinäjoki! In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing products and equipment in our product development projects. Your tasks will include various stages of the design process, from product concept ideation to technical implementation using 3D software. You will create technical solutions that meet our clients’ needs, working closely with both your expert team and our clients. Since our customer projects are diverse, so are the tasks in mechanical design. As a senior, you will have a significant expert role in our projects and will make independent decisions regarding technical solutions. You will also actively manage customer contacts and guide and support other designers alongside your own work. We expect from you: Broad experience in mechanical design and product development, Proficiency in modern design methods and 3D CAD and PDM/PLM software, A relevant technical university degree, Ability to operate in customer interface and good communication skills in Finnish and English, Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods, Experience in project and product management, Willingness to travel for projects. Knowledge of electrical engineering and Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
