Workshop Foreman for Auto Repair Shop, Lempäälä - Välkky HR - Tampere, Finland

Our client is a business operating in the Tampere region specializing in car maintenance, tire and rim sales. The premises are located near major roads with excellent transport links. The company's goal is to provide high-quality service to customers and sell tires at competitive prices without compromising professionalism or customer experience. The workshop performs scheduled maintenance, repairs, wheel alignments, and serves customers in tire and rim sales. Customers are offered a wide selection of well-known tire brands and expert service. With the current foreman moving away from the area, we are now seeking a WORKSHOP FOREMAN for the auto repair shop to oversee daily workshop operations and customer service. In this role, you will act as a supervisor for four technicians and ensure that workshop tasks proceed smoothly and on schedule. As a foreman, you will receive customers and vehicles arriving at the workshop, review maintenance and repair needs with the customer, prepare cost estimates, sell repair and maintenance work, and be responsible for pricing and invoicing. You will plan the daily workflow of the workshop, direct the work of technicians, and ensure that tasks are completed as scheduled. Additionally, you will advise customers on maintenance and repair questions. The workshop services both combustion engine and electric vehicles, and the role may also include tire sales.
