Licensed Practical Nurse, Kultaniitty and Niittyvilla, Lapua - Etelä-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Lapua, Finland

In elderly care services, in 24-hour residential care, a permanent licensed practical nurse position is available, with the initial placement at Jokilinnu's Kultaniitty and Niittyvilla in Lapua. Kultaniitty and Niittyvilla is a home for 29 residents. The work begins on June 1, 2026, or as agreed. In 24-hour residential care, we emphasize a resident-centered approach, daily life individuality, and meaningfulness. Also, daily rehabilitation to maintain residents' functional capacity and resources, as well as high-quality end-of-life care, play a central role in our activities. We are looking for a team member oriented towards elderly care who values shared daily life with familiar residents and wants to utilize their personality and various skills in their work. In addition to good professional skills, we expect flexibility, the ability to work independently with clients, good teamwork skills, and a desire to learn new things. The work is in three shifts. The qualification requirement is a social and health care basic degree, licensed practical nurse (in accordance with law 559/1994 or 817/2015). We require registration with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira) as a protected title professional. Language skills requirement is good oral and written Finnish. Medication licenses must be completed. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a task-specific salary of €2627.08/month at the start of employment. A trial period applies to the employment. A certificate of health status and a criminal record extract in accordance with law 741/2023 § 28 must be presented before taking up the position. The selected candidate may be required to undergo a drug test. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a statement regarding tuberculosis of the respiratory tract in accordance with Section 55.
