Job Description

We are now looking for a Finance Systems Specialist to act as the link between Finance and IT, ensuring our ERP platform (Maconomy) supports efficient, accurate and future-ready operations across multiple markets. The role involves ownership, development, and support of Maconomy, supporting a complex, project-based organization across multiple European countries. The candidate will work within Global IT, supporting project accounting, billing, revenue recognition, and statutory reporting. The position is preferably located in Helsinki or Stockholm.

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Act as system owner and subject‑matter expert for Maconomy
  • Configure, maintain, and continuously improve Maconomy to support business and finance needs
  • Support project accounting, billing, revenue recognition, and period‑end close
  • Ensure Maconomy supports statutory financial reporting and banking processes across multiple European entities
  • Manage master data, system controls, and user access
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations with Expense, Banking and Payment solutions
  • Act as a bridge between Finance, Project Management, IT, and external partners

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Maconomy
  • Strong expertise in project-based ERP and financial modules
  • Experience configuring and supporting Maconomy in a complex organization
  • Strong understanding of the Maconomy data model
  • Ability to analyse issues, identify root causes, and propose sustainable solutions
  • Strong communication skills (English) and ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
