IT Specialist - Ranuan Seudun Matkailu Oy - Ranua, Finland

We are looking for an IT Specialist for Ranua Resort to develop systems, processes, and digital solutions that support our business. In this role, you will influence how the services of Lapland's leading family travel destination operate more smoothly from the perspectives of customers, staff, and partners. Ranua Resort is an Arctic nature experience center with an animal park, accommodation, restaurants, safaris, shops, and other services forming a year-round tourism complex. Digital solutions are visible in everyday operations: they help teams succeed, support service development, and make the customer journey smoother. Your responsibilities include developing and continuously improving systems supporting business operations, identifying development needs with different teams, leading and coordinating IT and development projects, acting as a link between business, staff, system vendors, and other partners, developing processes and operational models utilizing digitalization opportunities, participating in system acquisitions, integrations, implementations, and change management, ensuring solutions are user-oriented, secure, and support business goals, and actively identifying new development opportunities. We expect experience in system development, IT projects, or digital solutions, the ability to identify needs and turn them into workable solutions, experience in project management or coordination, good collaboration and communication skills, a proactive, solution-oriented, and development-minded approach, interest in new technologies, understanding of data security, and Finnish language skills. Additional experience in developing business processes, system integrations, change projects, or in tourism, service, or customer system environments is a plus.
