Job Description
The Load & Haul Division, the home of Sandvik loaders and trucks for underground mining business, is seeking a Buyer responsible for purchasing activities in steel fabrication categories. The role involves managing end-to-end purchasing processes, supplier coordination, delivery follow-up, and supporting production operations. The position is based in Seremban, Malaysia, with responsibilities including monitoring orders, supplier performance, inventory, engineering changes, and ERP data management. The ideal candidate has a degree in Supply Chain or Engineering, 3-5 years of manufacturing purchasing experience, preferably in steel fabrication, with ERP system knowledge, strong coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
