Job Description
The Senior Group Accountant is responsible for consolidating the Group entities and preparing IFRS financial statements. This includes preparing the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, developing our Accounting and Consolidation systems. Responsibilities
- Providing high quality Group Financials to reduce audit findings and tighten the audit timeline
- Consolidation on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (IFRS)
- Constant development of our Accounting IT systems
- Liaising with auditors
- Implementing new consolidation ERP
- Implementing new IFRS
- Developing our audit guideline together with the Team Lead Accounting
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or accounting with a minimum of 6 years professional experience
- Extensive experience in accounting according to IFRS and HGB, other local GAAP experience is welcome
- Experience in the preparation of IFRS Group Financial Statements
- Strong Excel and ERP skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
- First Experience with AI-Tools
