Job Description
Validia Family Care Service Manager Would you like to help build quality family care and influence the support foster families receive in their daily lives? We are looking for a family care leader for a permanent position to lead and develop Validia's Family Care in Southern Finland. This role combines client work, supervisory responsibilities, and development of family care. You will work in a hybrid model, with your workplace located flexibly in either Helsinki or Tampere. The position requires readiness for occasional travel. You will support families together with your team and act as an expert in the overall situation of the placed child. You will also participate in client work practically as a partner, especially supporting new families and being involved in their journey from recruitment to training and assessment. Additionally, you will participate in placement inquiries and work closely with well-being regions. Lead daily operations as a supervisor and ensure smooth work through regular meetings, discussions, and supervisory support. Ensure that work is carried out according to agreed processes and quality criteria, and that staff have the prerequisites to succeed. You will also actively lead the development of family care and enhance the service's impact together with networks. The role emphasizes the ability to build effective cooperation relationships and identify new opportunities for service development. We expect excellent communication and collaboration skills, initiative, and courage to push things forward. You see opportunities where they are not yet visible and have a desire to develop and strengthen family care services customer-oriented. In this role, you will also develop family care practically and promote the service's visibility and growth. You will actively participate in network work and build new operational models in cooperation with various stakeholders. You will be responsible for quality management, self-monitoring, and keeping key practices and documents up to date.
