Job Description
We are seeking a forestry expert for a temporary position from June 1 to November 30, 2026, to participate in the regional ecological network project. The role involves inventorying endangered species in multi-use forests, including fieldwork such as structural feature inventory, data processing, and reporting. The position requires suitable forestry or biology education, experience in fieldwork, and good physical condition, including a valid B-driver's license. The work location can be Kajaani or other Metsähallitus offices, with travel to sites in Kainuu, North Savo, North Karelia, and other regions.
