Job Description
The Salvation Army Children's Holiday Home is located in Nummela, in a natural environment. The holiday home organizes camps for school-aged children and young people during school holidays. Additionally, the camp center hosts various events, training sessions, recreational days, and other occasions throughout the year. With the completion of new facilities, our goal is to expand the rental activities of the camp center, which is why we need more skilled kitchen staff. Initially, the work is on-call work, so the workload may vary seasonally. As activities grow, there may be more and regular shifts available. Your tasks include: Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snack services; Considering special diets; Planning menus and placing orders; Maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness; Implementing self-monitoring; Handling and storing received food products; Participating in other kitchen tasks as needed. We hope from you: Education in cooking, large-scale cooking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; Hygiene passport; Ability to work independently and responsibly; Flexible work attitude and good teamwork skills; Positive and service-oriented attitude and willingness to provide quality dining experiences for children and adults. Salary: Private social services sector collective agreement, salary class G18, €13.56/hour plus possible additional pay. The work is located at the Salvation Army Children's Holiday Home in Nummela.
