We are seeking a school assistant for Kajaani city's basic education to provide personal guidance to a student (2nd grade) in a fixed-term position at Lehtikankaan School from August 10, 2026, to June 5, 2027. We offer a diverse and interesting job as a school assistant at Lehtikankaan School. The building, completed in 2017, has modern and functional facilities and equipment. Lehtikankaan School operates in a multi-purpose center that also includes a library and a daycare. The school has nearly 800 students. In addition to general education classes, the school has various special classes and sports-oriented classes for upper grades. The role may include supervising morning and afternoon activities. Working hours are 25 hours per week. The salary is in accordance with the Local Government Collective Agreement (KVTES), with a full-time salary of €2,340.53/month plus possible experience-based allowance. Qualifications include a professional qualification in education and guidance, a vocational or specialized vocational qualification in student guidance or early childhood education, a youth and community worker, social services (AMK), practical nurse, or other comparable education that qualifies for the role.
