Reporting Controller, osa-aikainen - Barona Logistiikka Oy - Vantaa, Finland

We are looking for a part-time Reporting Controller to strengthen the Finance team for an SAP project until May 2027. The role involves practical implementation of reporting, data handling, and maintenance and development of reporting processes. You will work closely with the team to ensure high-quality and reliable reporting supports business decision-making. This position is suitable for someone early in their career with some experience in reporting or analytics, strong analytical skills, a practical approach, and good system skills. You will work in a four-person Finance team with two other controllers and report to the Business Controller. Your responsibilities will include reporting and analytics, but you will also receive support from experienced colleagues. The focus of the role is on monthly reporting, analytics, development of Power BI and Excel reports, and data quality assurance. Key tasks - Prepare and update monthly reports. - Maintain and develop Excel and Power BI reporting. - Collect, verify, and analyze data needed for reporting. - Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes. - Identify and investigate deviations and ensure data quality. - Produce analyses and other materials to support decision-making. - Participate in SAP project testing. What we expect from you - Relevant university degree, e.g., in accounting, finance, economics, or business. - About 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, controlling, analytics, or similar roles. - Strong Excel skills; Power BI and SAP/ERP experience is a plus. - Understanding of financial reporting, key figures, and business monitoring. - Analytical approach and numerical accuracy. - Fluent in Finnish and English.
