Part-time Art Teacher - Porvoon kaupunki - Porvoo, Finland

Porvoo Region Art School / Art School is seeking a part-time teacher for basic art education for the academic year 2026 - 2027, from August 12, 2026, to May 31, 2027. Teaching basic art in Sipoo and/or Porvoo in basic art education groups for 9 - 14 hours per week, as a part-time teacher three days a week. Students are aged 4 - 18. All groups are bilingual (Finnish, Swedish). Qualifications: Decree on the qualification requirements for education personnel 986/1998. Additionally, good oral skills in Finnish and Swedish and work experience in teaching children and young people’s visual arts are required. Experience as an artist is considered an advantage. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued under the Act on the Criminal Record Register (504/2002), Section 3. The probationary period is half of the employment duration.
