Greetings from the store opening in August 2026. The brand new K-Supermarket Pajala is located in the center of Järvenpää, close to good transport links. We continue to be Järvenpää's own village shop. We have been the best K-Supermarket in Uusimaa in 2018, Finland's best online store in 2020, and in 2023, we were elected Uusimaa's best K-Supermarket again. We are now looking for a security sales assistant. This is not just a guard or a sales position. It is a role for someone who wants to help make the store's daily life, serve customers, and ensure that Pajala is a safe place for both customers and our staff. The work combines customer service, regular store tasks, and store security. You are a visible and approachable part of the store team. You will be involved where help is needed: at the checkout, on the shelves, in displays, in customer encounters, and in situations requiring a calm but firm approach. A good security sales assistant is primarily a customer service person who can also act calmly, with situational awareness and firmness when needed. Your tasks include customer service and cashier work, shelf stocking, displays, handling goods, maintaining store condition, visible and service-minded presence, preventing waste and disturbances, addressing security incidents according to procedures, supporting staff in safety matters, and collaborating with security partners and store staff when necessary. We expect you to be of legal age, have a clean background, possess a security guard card, have a positive attitude towards customer service, and be willing to do regular store work. You should have a calm, firm, and professional manner in customer situations, courage to address issues respectfully, flexibility, initiative, teamwork skills, commitment to team and store goals, and a strong desire to develop and learn new skills as the retail industry evolves.
