Job Description
As a relief staff in home care, you will primarily work in the Northern 2 area (Etelä-Hervanta, Hervanta, Kaleva, Kaukajärvi, Kissanmaa, Linnainmaa, Pappilanpuisto, Pohjois-Hervanta, Tammela, Teisko, and Orivesi) supporting clients living at home, based on their needs. The role is independent, challenging, and diverse, with a focus on providing quality care to clients. The work of a licensed practical nurse in home care involves versatile, client-centered care and support in clients' homes. Tasks include assisting clients with daily activities based on their strengths and performing nursing duties according to the agreed care plan. What do we expect from you? - You are a licensed practical nurse or a basic care nurse (social services). - You have completed the online medication training test for licensed practical nurses (LOP, PKV, KIPU1, GER1). If needed, you can complete the tests at the start of employment. - You hold a valid B driver's license; having access to a car is considered an advantage. - Good communication and teamwork skills, flexible and open-minded attitude. - Proficiency in Finnish for client and reporting work. - We hope you enjoy working in a team, are proactive, flexible, and cooperative. The position is permanent, starting by agreement. The working hours are full-time, approximately 38 hours and 15 minutes per week, including morning and evening shifts. The probation period is six months. Applicants must provide a criminal record extract as per section 6, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Records Act. Additionally, vaccination against infectious diseases is strongly recommended as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act.
