Personal Assistant - Yksityinen työnantaja - Kauhava, Finland

We are seeking a cheerful, reliable, talkative, flexible, and cheerful personal assistant to join a support circle for a 70-year-old man employer who uses a wheelchair. The workplace is located in Ylihärmä. The employer lives with his wife. Working hours are 35 hours per week. Work shifts are from 7 am to 2 pm and from 2 pm to 9 pm, including weekends. Proficiency in Finnish is an absolute requirement. Job duties include assisting with daily activities: maintaining hygiene, assisting with transfers, errands, household chores, cooking and feeding, as well as outdoor work such as snow removal from stairs and wheelchair ramp in winter, and lawn mowing and raking in summer. The employer provides orientation to the job tasks. A vaccination certificate according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act is required. The employer is a member of the HETA union, and the employment terms follow the HETA collective agreement. Selection may be made during the application period once a suitable candidate is found. Please note that the employer is the person being assisted, i.e., a private individual.
