The work will start immediately once a suitable candidate is found, so the position will be filled quickly. What is JL Levytekniikka? JL Levytekniikka offers manufacturing work in the metal industry in the Turku area and operates in an environment where work quality, efficiency, and professionalism are evident in daily tasks. In this role, you will be part of a production process where practical skills, careful work, and teamwork are essential for success. As a shear operator, you will work as part of the production team and be responsible for shearing metal parts according to work instructions and technical drawings. Precision, consistent quality, and the ability to manage work steps smoothly even on busier days are emphasized. Your tasks will include: * Shearing metal parts according to production needs * Operating machinery and managing work stages * Changing tools independently * Working in accordance with drawings and work instructions * Checking the quality of finished parts * Maintaining cleanliness and safety at your workstation The work is performed in two shifts alternating weekly: * One week Mon-Fri from 6 am to 2 pm * The other week Mon-Fri from 2 pm to 10 pm What do we expect from you? You will succeed in this role if you approach your work proactively and perform your tasks carefully. Previous experience is not required for everything, but experience in similar tasks in the metal industry will help you get started quickly.
