Job Description
The Shift Planner at Huhtamaki is responsible for coordinating workforce planning, shift scheduling, training, onboarding, and workforce administration. The role involves developing and maintaining shift schedules, ensuring optimal staffing, coordinating workforce deployment, scheduling safety training, onboarding new employees, managing workforce data, tracking skills and certifications, managing absences, and supporting operational continuity. The role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the Production Manager, Shift Managers, contingent workforce agencies, and HR. The position supports Huhtamaki's mission to protect food, people, and the planet through sustainable packaging solutions.
