Fixed-term Class Teacher Position, Pohjoinen School - Riihimäen kaupunki - Riihimäki, Finland

The Northern School at Pohjoinen School, part of the Education and Well-being Department of the City of Riihimäki, has an open fixed-term position for a class teacher from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Pohjoinen School is a two-grade primary school located in the city center of Riihimäki, next to the Sports Park. The school offers basic education as well as preparatory teaching. We are looking for a class teacher with an interest in teaching crafts with hard materials and English. We value expertise in robotics education and experience in using educational technology tools. In this role, the teaching obligation is 24 annual teaching hours, and the task-specific salary according to the pricing code is €3,040.71 per month. An additional TVA of €208.84 per month applies. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children and Young People (504/2002).
