The Responsibility Unit for Inclusion-Supporting Services within the social services of the Housing and Participation Department of the Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Services Region provides diverse low-threshold social services to Pirkanmaa. Join us in building quality services for our clients! Day Activity Center Huoltsu is a low-threshold day activity center primarily aimed at substance users, open to all who seek community. Visitors can participate in activities at Huoltsu while intoxicated, but substance use within the premises is prohibited. Participation can also be anonymous. At the day center, clients can receive guidance and advice in various life situations, participate in group activities, eat, do laundry, wash, and rest during the day. As a guide, you play a significant role in preventing social exclusion. The position requires excellent first-contact skills, the ability to meet clients respectfully and equally, and the capacity to work with clients with diverse needs in rapidly changing and unpredictable situations. Additionally, supporting the client’s own agency is essential. The work is client-oriented and confidential. The work is carried out in multidisciplinary teams within the client’s networks and service systems. Important partners in day center work include social and health care professionals, various city actors, and third-sector organizations. What do we expect from you? - You are a licensed practical nurse (social welfare) - Fluent in spoken and written Finnish - Hygiene passport. Additional information: - The work begins on June 15, 2026, or as agreed, and continues until September 30, 2026.
