Principal Mobile Engineer, Platform - MetaMask - Consensys - Remote - Global

MetaMask’s Wallet Platform organization owns the client platforms for the MetaMask browser extension and mobile apps. The Mobile Platform team treats MetaMask Mobile as a platform: we enable all feature teams to ship high‑quality experiences faster by providing a secure, stable, high‑performance foundation with excellent developer experience and automated operations. As a Principal Mobile Engineer, you’ll be the most senior hands‑on technical leader focused on mobile: setting architecture, defining standards, and driving cross‑team initiatives that shape the future of our mobile platform and MetaMask app. You’ll work closely with engineers across MetaMask, not just within Mobile Platform, to ensure our mobile apps performance and stability scale with our users, features, and the broader Web3 ecosystem. You’ll own mobile platform architecture, lead design reviews, drive upgrades, improve tooling, and mentor engineers, with a focus on performance, stability, and automation. Experience in React Native, native iOS/Android, mobile CI/CD, and platform building is required. The role involves defining architecture, leading initiatives, and shaping the technical culture of the mobile team.
