We are seeking a special class teacher for disability education at Ilola School. Workplace description: Ilola School is a diverse school for grades 1-5, with approximately 550 students. We have 36 teachers and 14 teaching assistants and school nurses. Our school includes basic education classes, local special classes, and regional support groups for disability education. Job description: As a special class teacher, you will be responsible for supporting the learning, growth, and school attendance of students in disability education by subject. You will serve as a guide for the adult team, coordinating team work, strengthening the shared culture, and ensuring smooth daily operations together with other team members. You will actively collaborate with students’ guardians and networks. You will have support from other disability education teams. In addition, we require: Good teamwork skills, proficiency in various teaching methods, and ability to differentiate instruction. The applicant must be familiar with the Education Act for Special Education and competent in preparing pedagogical documents. Merits: Experience working with children and youth with disabilities.
