We are seeking a project manager for a fixed-term contract with the City of Viitasaari to implement the Viitasaari WorKS! project from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2028. The goal of the project is to develop a sustainable model that enhances youth skills recognition, work readiness, and employment in close cooperation with companies, educational institutions, and other networks. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the overall implementation and achievement of project goals. You will lead daily operations, build collaboration networks, and develop new approaches to promote youth employment. Your duties include, among others: operational management and coordination of the project, guidance, engagement, and skills recognition for youth, building and coordinating corporate cooperation, planning and implementing workshops and development experiments, maintaining digital communities (e.g., Discord), monitoring project finances, schedules, and objectives, communication and reporting to funders, developing and embedding the operational model into the city’s activities.
