Koukkuniemi Old People's Home is the largest in the Nordic countries, located beautifully on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi. Our Varpula ward has 20 resident places. As a practical nurse, you are responsible for basic care, medication management, and small domestic tasks. We provide rehabilitative care aimed at maintaining the residents' functional capacity as comprehensively as possible. Why apply to us? What do we expect from you? You are a licensed practical nurse (social welfare) or a basic care nurse. You have a hygiene passport and have successfully completed the LOVe medication management online tests. If needed, you can complete the LOVe online tests at the start of your employment. You speak and write Finnish fluently. Customer-oriented mindset, good communication skills, and a willingness to develop. Start date is negotiable. The position is full-time, approximately 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. The work includes morning, evening, and night shifts. The probation period is six months. You must present a criminal record extract in accordance with section 6, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Records Act, and have valid vaccination protection as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016).
