Food Service Worker, Part-Time - Tuusulan kunta - Tuusula, Finland

Tuusula - the art of doing! We are looking for a part-time food service worker to work in the kitchen at Paijala School from August 13 to October 11, 2026. Paijala School is a primary school with approximately 250 students, located on the west side of Lake Tuusula, about two kilometers from the center of Hyrylä, at Paijalantie 44, Hyrylä. As a food service worker in the school kitchen, you will work with meals served to elementary school students. You will be responsible for the dining experience of students and staff, together with another food service worker. Your tasks include dishwashing, customer service, and other kitchen duties such as self-monitoring tasks. You will excel in this role if you have experience working in a kitchen, good cooperation and interaction skills, and an independent and proactive work attitude. Successful performance also requires good physical condition and health. Previous experience in the food service industry, a basic catering qualification, or other relevant training is considered an advantage. Food service workers must have a hygiene passport. The working language is Finnish. We require good spoken and written Finnish skills and comprehension. The working hours are weekdays Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day, between 10:00 and 14:00. The employment is temporary from August 13 to October 11, 2026, but may be extended if necessary. We follow the municipal general collective agreement for salary, which is €1,170.67 per month.
