Early Childhood Educator, Silkkiniitty Daycare Center - Espoon kaupunki - Espoo, Finland

We are seeking a skilled professional who speaks Swedish to join our positive and enthusiastic team at Silkkiniitty Daycare Center starting from August 2026. The unit values positive, developmental, and forward-looking pedagogy with the child at the center. Silkkiniitty Daycare Center is a six-group unit located in the center of Tapiola. The unit provides early childhood education for children aged 0-6 years, and we also operate a Swedish immersion group called Nyckelpigor. This position is in the Swedish immersion group, so proficiency in Swedish is expected for working with children. However, Finnish is the primary working language at our daycare. Our location offers excellent facilities for learning environments. Nearby, there are forest areas, a library, museums, sports facilities, and beautiful meadows, which we utilize weekly. Due to our central location, various partners actively participate in our activities. Additionally, our daycare yard is currently being renovated to provide versatile outdoor pedagogical opportunities for children. Workplace name and address: Silkkiniitty Daycare Center, Opinkuja 1, 02100 Espoo Working hours: 38 hours 15 minutes/week The position is temporary from 10.8.2026 to 31.5.2028.
