Temporary position as a School Attendance Supervisor at Kätönlahti School - Kajaanin kaupunki - Kajaani, Finland

We are seeking a school attendance supervisor for Kätönlahti School in Kajaani city for a fixed-term position from August 10, 2026, to June 5, 2027. The duties include guiding students and supporting learning in various teaching groups, as well as supervising afternoon activities. Kätönlahti School is a primary school with approximately 450 students and 27 teaching groups. Prior experience as a school attendance supervisor and readiness to accompany students on trips and during physical education classes are considered advantages. We expect the ability to administer medication to students. You should be familiar with modern teaching tools and methods, as well as the subjects taught in primary school. The work can sometimes be mentally and physically demanding. Salary is based on the local collective agreement, with a level salary of €2,340.53. The working hours are full-time, 38.25 hours per week. Qualifications include a professional qualification in education and guidance, a vocational or special vocational qualification in school attendance and morning and afternoon activities, a youth and community worker, social services (AMK), practical nurse, or other comparable education qualifying for the position.
