We are seeking an assistant through the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County's personal assistance center for a permanent position for a young visually impaired man in Konnevesi. The work involves varying assistance with daily activities 0–4 hours/week and leisure activities 0–30 hours/month. Work shifts are planned in more detail during employment. Tasks include household chores, assisting with errands, and supporting various leisure activities (outdoor activities, trips, cultural events), as well as assisting once a week in a youth workshop from 9 am to 2 pm. Employment is always private. The person selected for the position will be employed by the assisted person or their guardian. Notification of interview/employment decision will be given personally. The work begins as soon as a suitable assistant is found. The employer has the right to request a criminal record extract from the employee working with elderly and disabled persons once employment begins (Social and Health Care Supervision Act 741/2023, Section 28).
