We are seeking a mental health nurse for the Psychiatry Center, Early Psychosis Ward P7. HUS Psychiatry's Early Psychosis Ward P7 operates within the Psychiatry Center in Helsinki, focusing on psychosis and forensic psychiatry. The ward currently has 18 beds. In 2027, our operations will move to the new facilities at Laakso Hospital, with a planned capacity of 16 beds. Our unit's activities include evidence-based care and research for early and first-episode psychosis patients. Our framework is based on the magnetic hospital model, recovery orientation, and safe wards (Safewards). An important part of the patient care process is collaboration with outpatient services, relatives, and other networks of the patient. Teamwork and staff participation in developing and implementing quality care are central to our ward's operations. As a mental health nurse, you will act as a specialist in psychiatric nursing and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. The work involves three-shift work and includes diverse nursing tasks and responsibilities. The work begins on 20 July 2026 or by agreement.
