Job Description
The University of Oulu is seeking two Doctoral Researchers to join the Materials and Mechanical Engineering Research Unit. The position is fixed-term for 3.5 years and focuses on developing high-strength, hydrogen-resistant steels for sustainable infrastructure. The researchers will work on innovative steel design, microstructural modeling, and collaborate with international research groups. The role offers training in steel characterization, physical simulation, and thermodynamic modeling, with opportunities to publish and present research. Candidates should hold a master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in English.
