We are currently looking for a casual operating room nurse for the surgical ward in Turku. The work involves assisting in surgeries such as orthopedics, joint replacement, hand and foot surgery, neurosurgery, gastro- and plastic surgery, gynecology, ENT, and cataract surgery. Most surgeries are outpatient or short-term inpatient procedures. As a nurse in Turku, you play a vital role in enabling our surgical services. You will work in operating rooms, utilizing and developing your skills across various specialties. Tasks may include instrument, anesthesia, circulating nurse, or recovery room duties. Our operating room nurses are responsible for perioperative care and coordination of surgical patients. The position is on a casual basis with a core contract, with shifts scheduled separately and possibly on short notice. The employment is temporary until December 31, 2028. Working days are weekdays, with the hospital open from Monday morning to Friday evening. Weekend surgeries are closed. Compensation includes task-based pay and possible personal bonuses and benefits. The minimum salary according to the private healthcare sector collective agreement (TPTES) for a nurse in the demanding group VR 4 is €2693.83/month for zero experience, with hourly pay calculated accordingly. Additional pay factors include personal skills, previous experience, special responsibilities, and seniority (4 years +6%, 7 years +11%). Overtime pay is also provided. Why work at Terveystalo?
